Walk for Food Security for All on October 6!

New Location – But Still Walking on October 6th!

The annual Walk For The Centre is returning in 2024 for the ninth year! This year’s walk will begin and end in a new location – at the Church of the Ascension on Echo Drive. Rain or shine, we will be following our same route along the lovely Rideau Canal. Plan to come out and support the Centretown Community Food Centre on October 6th (1:30 to 4 pm).

This is our opportunity to highlight the food insecurity facing so many of our neighbours in central Ottawa. As always, 100 percent of net proceeds go to the Centretown Community Food Centre. Last year, we were able to provide $40,000 in additional support thanks to our generous donors, walkers and business sponsors.
