Circle the calendar and save the date! The Walk for the Centre will take place on Sunday, October 4 and we are hoping to see you there.

Our 2025 walkathon was a great success. Sincere thanks to everyone including walkers, donors, business sponsors, elected officials and volunteers, who helped raise $54,000 in funds for the Centretown Community Food Centre.

The Centretown Churches Social Action Committee started the Walk for the Centre in 2015 to raise money for the Food Centre at a time when resources were very tight. The walk has grown over the years, and these days we also use it to raise awareness about the serious food insecurity facing so many in our community. This October, we will again be walking to highlight the needs in central Ottawa and to raise much-needed funds for the Food Centre. We hope you can join us!
