CCSAC finds ways to help local residents cope with Ottawa’s steamy summer weather. The projects are varied and intended to help local agencies support Central Ottawa residents. CCSAC assists in providing toiletries and other hygiene items to people in need. Another project provided table fans for rooming house residents. These are the kind of practical items that day programs and other charities have difficulty providing from their operating budgets, but are much-appreciated by their clients.
